The Christian God desires to be to every one an inward and abiding friend, a purifying presence in daily life, the One whose moral purpose continually restrains and whose steadfast love continually upholds.

                                      Sermon Theme
For faith to be active in love, we need to meet the Living Jesus, not some relic from the distant past. During Epiphany I will try to help us capture a glimpse of Jesus through the experiences of some of those to whom he ministered. Jesus’ power transformed them and it can transform us as well.  This morning we focus on one kind of experience: Empowering Affirmation.
